Mingun Kim, 16
A student at SPPS (Class of 2028) in Seoul, South Korea. Most mornings I go for a run around my area, usually Hannam, and pick up the litter I see along the way.
Why I do this
I started plogging because I wanted to do a small thing for the place I live. I also wanted to show other students that you don’t have to wait until you’re older to help out. If a few classmates see this and try it too, that’s already worth it.
It turned out to be good for me as well. Running and cleaning up what other people left behind, morning after morning, made my time feel useful. It made me happier.
It isn’t anything big. But I’m glad I’m doing something, even if it’s small, for the people around me.
What this site is
Every session is logged here: the day, how long, how far, and how much I picked up. I keep it public on purpose. A record means more when anyone can check it.
It started on Aug 9, 2025. Since then: 62 sessions, 17.45 kg of litter, and 62.68 km run.
